The manufacturing process uses high Quality materials from a supply chain which has been in place for over 15 years. The casings for the electrodes are manufactured to our precise requirements using the latest CNC machining which ensures a Quality finished product.

The silver/silver chloride elements are prepared by an electrolytic precipitation process on to 2mm diameter pure silver wire using a unique process developed by CEL in 1994.

The completed silver/silver chloride reference electrodes are inspected and then calibrated using a saturated calomel electrode at 20 DegC in a 3% salt solution. Each electrode has a unique reference number for identification and Quality control purposes.
